An excellent example of the mark 1, 2.0 litre petrol, sport 4 motion Tiguan. LEZ compliant being a petrol motor. I am only the second owner. I bought the car in 2019 with 1 former owner from a respected garage with Full service history in handbook (but no receipts from first owner – all receipts available for my ownership). MOT til 26th October 2025(new MOT will be added for new owner). New rear tyres and a new n/s rear caliper and rear pads at last MOT, plus an oil change. Has had all service points done on time, in 2019 had Haldex oil and spark plugs etc. Has had new lower rear suspension arms replaced last year (common on these), plus a few bushes and new discs and pads on front. Excellent condition throughout, as you’ll see from photos there is a small bodywork dent on drivers door. Have had estimate of £350-£450 to repair (including paint) but this happened during 1st Covid lockdown and I’ve simply got used to it. There are a few lacquer layer scratches and one deeper base coat scratch. Just being honest, but, overall the paint is in good nic. Everything works as it should – sensors, lights, AC, etc, etc. The Sport models are only 3bhp less (190bhp) than the R model but cheap to insure (only £230pa for me) Decent performance from the TSI 4 pot. Has never been tampered/fiddled with or remapped etc , just a foam air filter. £5,200, includes a few hundred taken off for the drivers door repair if new owner wants to sort it. Not many 2 owner, low mileage cars like this around. Could say a lot more about it but it’s an absolutely solid, reliable car that’s decent to drive.
